With drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles, becoming more and more popular by the day, the future of the hobby could be in danger. The FCC controls all the airspace that drones fly in, therefore they can regulate where, when and how pilots fly. Their main concern is maintaining the safety of air traffic around airport and airplanes in the skies.

Drones are becoming more sophisticated as the days progress. With the use of GPS and telemetry, safety features on the drones and the equipment on the ground which they are controlled by, are reducing accidents and incidents caused by drones.
